New projects in Ankara target high income groups

The number of brand housing projects in Ankara, which has more regular settlements than other Anatolian cities, has been increasing at a continuous pace.

The recent projects have also destroyed the existing squatter settlements in Ankara and have revived the silhouette of an already orderly city. This continuous development has also led to an increase in the prices of residences in the city as the projects specifically target upper income groups. The prices of the residences in these projects begin at YTL 85,000 and reach up to YTL 1.15 million.

These new building complexes are mainly located on the Eskisehir Road and in burgeoning regions including Batikent, Çayyolu, Temelli and Incek districts. One of the major distinguishing features of these luxury building complexes, which include different types of houses ranging from villas to residences, is the existence of large, green areas when compared with the relatively small amounts of greenery found in Istanbul.
